chirp-v6-wild is a music generation model explicitly listed for the Suno service on this platform and categorized in the v6 family in the platform documentation. Start creating with text inspiration or custom lyrics, turning song themes, section structures, and style ideas into playable audio, and experiment with diversity and style adjustment options to compare creative directions. Specify model=chirp-v6-wild when calling, and save creation parameters and work information to facilitate version comparisons; identical requests are not guaranteed to generate identical audio.

When lyrics are not yet written, use inspiration mode to describe the theme, mood, and musical style; when text already exists, switch to custom mode to organize the lyrics, title, and style separately. The two approaches correspond to different stages of creation, allowing the same song idea to gradually develop from a brief description into a preview track with clear sections.
When creating, use variety to adjust diversity among results, and in custom mode experiment with weirdness and style_influence to express experimental qualities and stylistic alignment tendencies respectively. It is recommended to adjust them one at a time after finalizing the lyrics, comparing changes in arrangement and vocals instead of increasing all parameters at once.
Generated results are delivered as structured information, which may include song ID, title, lyrics, status, actual duration, and audio_url, making it easy for applications to build work lists and preview interfaces. Time-consuming tasks can use async to return a task ID, or be configured with callbacks to receive results, handling creative submissions separately from finished-work presentation.
Start with specific tasks to find where the model can be effective.
Put completed verses, choruses, and bridges into lyric, pair them with title and style, and generate a song draft in custom mode. The deliverables are previewable audio and work information, allowing lyricists to compare how the lyrics are expressed in music before deciding which sections are worth further revision or formal production.
Write a brief music description for travel videos, show intros, or product presentations, including the atmosphere, genre, and intended use; when vocals are not needed, enable the instrumental option in inspiration mode. First use generated audio to screen soundtrack directions, then edit according to the video's rhythm, rather than treating the desired duration as a precise timing tool.
Keep the same lyrics and basic style around a single event theme, adjust diversity or experimental parameters, and generate different options for team listening. Save each request's settings and song ID, grounding song-selection discussions in specific audio; this is suitable for advertising music proposals, event song concepts, and creative instruction.
Choose based on task complexity, input materials, and expected results.
chirp-v6-wild, chirp-v6, and chirp-v6-mini are different model IDs and should not be treated as aliases for one another. For regular creation, you can start with the recommended chirp-v6; if you want to evaluate whether Wild better matches your aesthetic, use the same lyrics and style for a listening comparison. Do not judge experimental nature, speed, or audio quality based solely on the Wild or Mini names.
When you only have a theme idea, prioritize inspiration mode and keep the description concise; when the lyrics and sections are already decided, choose custom mode for easier comparison of works. When enhanced generation is needed, generate's max_mode should be used together with custom=true. Confirm the baseline result first, then add adjustment options, as this makes it easier to determine the cause of changes than stacking all settings at once.

Answers to common questions about using chirp-v6-wild.
They are not the same invocation value. This platform's documentation lists chirp-v6-wild, chirp-v6, and chirp-v6-mini separately. When using Wild, you must explicitly specify model=chirp-v6-wild; the three cannot be used interchangeably as invocation aliases. When comparing versions, it is recommended to keep the lyrics, style, and other settings consistent, then listen and choose.
You should not make that judgment based on the name alone. If you want to try more varied creations, you can adjust variety and try weirdness in custom mode. They represent different adjustment directions; whether they ultimately meet the needs of experimental music still depends on comparing the actual audio.
Yes. Inspiration mode uses custom=false and describes the song idea with a prompt of up to 500 characters; in custom mode, if lyric is not submitted, lyric_prompt can be used to guide lyric generation. If you already have complete lyrics, submit lyric directly to better preserve your own content structure.
Custom generation can submit a duration of 10–360 whole seconds, but this is only the desired length and does not guarantee that the finished result will strictly match it. After receiving the work, you should check the actual duration and listen to the ending; if it is used for a fixed-length video, allowing room for editing and fade-out processing is more appropriate.
Submit a generate request to POST /suno/audios and specify Wild. You can set async=true to obtain a task_id first, then query the task; you can also provide callback_url to receive the results. After completion, use audio_url to obtain the audio, and save the song ID and creation parameters.
